About This Place

OB. Clark's is a quintessential sports bar, pub, and restaurant situated conveniently at 1921 S Brentwood Blvd in St. Louis, MO. It beautifully blends the energetic buzz of a lively local watering hole with a menu that delights both casual bar-goers and food enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re here to catch a Cardinals or Blues game, or simply unwind with friends after work, OB. Clark’s offers an inviting atmosphere brimming with warmth and community spirit.

The culinary offerings at OB. Clark’s celebrate classic American bar favorites with a distinct local flair. Their toasted ravioli—a St. Louis specialty—is a standout, boasting a crisp, golden exterior reminiscent of Chicago-style thin-crust pizza, perfectly seasoned to create an addictive bite. Fans of traditional pub fare will find much to love in the basket of chicken wings, juicy and well-seasoned, alongside indulgent appetizers like fried mushrooms, potato skins, and the ever-comforting cheese garlic bread. For something heartier, the Reuben Sandwich with onion rings or fries, steakburger with cheese, and the savory ribeye steak sandwich satisfy with generous portions and deep, satisfying flavors.

On Fridays, the kitchen ramps up the special offerings with a rich, velvety clam chowder that perfectly balances creaminess and briny freshness, drawing in locals craving seasonal delights. Pizza lovers will revel in the Deluxe pizza, artfully topped with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, maintaining its sought-after crispy crust and generous toppings. For lighter fare, the cobb salad and grilled chicken salad provide fresh, vibrant options that contrast beautifully with the rich appetizers and hearty sandwiches.

The drinking menu complements the elevated pub fare with classic and craft beer options—like the crisp, cold Stella Artois—and expertly prepared cocktails, including their smooth Meyers Rum & Coke and straightforward whiskey on the rocks. Although the Guinness pour was noted as needing refinement, the attentive and friendly staff consistently add to the welcoming vibe of the space. The bar is clearly a gathering spot where “everybody knows everybody,” providing a genuine local “Cheers”-style experience, as one guest affectionately put it.

Though some visitors express concerns about accessibility, particularly with the entrance layout and steps to upper levels, the overall atmosphere remains inviting. OB. Clark’s pulses with the energy of hockey nights and game days, enhanced by the hum of great conversations and the savory aroma of freshly cooked pub eats.

In sum, OB. Clark’s embodies the heart of a St. Louis sports bar: casual, flavorful, and friendly. Whether indulging in their crispy, golden toasted ravioli or sharing a plate of wings over a cold beer, guests leave feeling nourished, entertained, and part of the local community fabric.

Great place to watch a sporting event like a Cards or Blues game and have a drink. The food is great and they have a wide variety of appetizers as well as entrée. My girlfriend is always coming here with her coworkers after she gets off work. Great friendly atmosphere.

Toasted ravioli is supposed to be a St.L specialty, had it alot over the years couldn't imagine how to make it unique. Its crisped & seasoned like chicago thin crust pizza, amazingly delicious! Cajun corn soup was unusual, slightly sweet super peppery, good experience. Cheese bites were cheddar not, moz, not what we expected. Local bar culture, everybody knew everybody, kinds like Cheers..

The first thing I have to discuss is entrances. When you turn into the restaurant, you pass up a direct entrance to the restaurant bar area. If you go further into the lot, there is another entrance sort of in the back. If you use that entrance, be prepared to walk up 3 flights of steps. I think there should be a sign because I am handicapped and it took everything I had to get up there, but now I know. So, we sat at the bar and got drinks right away. We ordered the Toasted Ravs, and they were amazing. We really enjoyed the fact that the bartender let us enjoy our appetizer and wasn't rushing us. For dinner/late lunch, I had a Rueben sandwich, and my husband had the Grouper sandwich both had fries. The Rueben had great flavor. It was a big sandwich as they usually are, but the bread was soggy, and my fries were a little cold. The Grouper was cooked perfectly but the same with his fries, just a little cold. Bartender was nice, both of them. Great atmosphere, Olympics, and Cardinals on TV. Overall it was a good experience, not too expensive, close to us. We'll be back!

Guinness was straight pour into a normal beer pint glass. They have the proper Guinness spout and set up just need the glass wear and proper pour technique. Other than that great local bar food smells good staff is nice.

A wonderful dive bar. A bit too loud, but fun. It draws an eclectic crowd of older guys; younger chicks, and men that want to pursue them. Plenty of televisions. The food is decent. The service is good, but this evening easily distracted. There's room for improvement, but that's not the goal. The regulars seem content. This is their place. We're all welcome, but don't go trying to fix their perfection. They're happy. Visit, eat, drink, join in the merriment. Enjoy the views. i hope it is profitable by whatever measure works.

A local Irish bar right in Brentwood on Brentwood Boulevard near Bread Company. Sat at the barn had a great server. The trashed chicken wings were really amazing. The large chef salad was huge and more than enough for two people. The pores were heavy, and the beer was cold. The place was hopping on a Sunday afternoon.
